About B&B

Hi! Welcome to Bookpiles & Blanketforts!

A place where I blog about books (piles of them), building forts - sometimes literally (the perfect place to read with kids), and other literarily-inspired topics (basically whatever tickles my lit-loving fancy).

My name is T, occasional book blogger and all-time reader. I'm a 20-something mama of two boys and an avid bibliophile. I love reading and sharing that love with others, and if I could go back in time, I would relish the chance to receive a diploma in English Literature or Library Sciences - when I was a kid I dreamed of becoming a librarian (yes, really). Skipping that formal education hasn't hampered my life-long love affair with books, however.

I read everything and anything from YA to epic fantasy to the classics (though not as many as I'd like). I also participate in a few online book clubs over on Goodreads as well as  here, and here. It would be lovely if you would join in!

I have spent too long lurking around the book blogosphere and finally decided that it was time to jump in and actually participate. Does the blogosphere really need ANOTHER random book blog? Probably not. But hopefully you'll stick around and I'll try (really hard) not to bore you too much.

Happy Reading!

NOTE: Photos on this blog are not mine unless otherwise stated. Click on the pictures to see the origin of any images I post (usually Pinterest).

  3. Hi! I really like your blog, so I nominated you for the Sisterhood of World Bloggers award!

Anyway, no pressure, answer my questions if you want. You don't have to. Some of them are more like commands.... Hope you're good at haikus!
